Remember a few weeks ago, I talked about not wanting to clutter others' homes this year for the holidays? If you missed it, here it is again: No Clutter Gifts for the holidays. Well, here is the first of my affordable gifts for men that don't take a lot of time or money. Here is how I made a great gift idea for men. Supplies you need 1 package of beer bread mix from Pampered Chef - There are two separate bags in one box. Cost: $11.00+ shipping for two bags. $5.50 eachOne Beer Cost: $3.00One tea towel: Cost: $1.001 rubber band Cost: $0.00 (had it)1 large beer mug Cost: $1.00One bamboo wooden spoon from Pampered Chef - comes in a two-pack as well. Cost: $5.00 + shipping for two $2.50 each1 Bow $0.00 (had it)1 Thin Ribbon $0.00 (had it) Total cost: $13.00 per gift Here is some information to help you find these items: I went to the dollar store and found a large beer mug and tea towel. You may be able to find the beer bread mix and wooden spoon somewhere else, but I particularly love this mix, and my children's high school music department was running a fundraiser, so I figured I would help the school out AND get some #holiday shopping done. =) Instructions I first took the beer bread mix and placed it in a sealed baggy and placed it through the handle of the beer mug. This particular mug handle was large enough to hold the batter nicely. I then added a rubber band to secure it. Add Tea Towel Then, I added the tea towel to the top, and with the beer, I pressed the tea towel into the mug. I then added the wooden spoon to the mug. I wrapped the tea towel with a ribbon to keep everything together and added a bow to the wooden spoon. Reveal Here is a picture of a great gift idea for men. Doesn't it look cute? I hope they love it. I made three of them in about 45 minutes. Ever have one of those moments when something just feels... off? That's exactly what happened last night during dinner with my mom. An expired ingredient almost ruined her signature Caesar salad! After planting a new flower bush in the garden at her house, my mom and I cooked up a delicious seafood dinner together. The salmon was perfect. The mussels were divine. The bread, freshly baked. But the Caesar dressing? Something just wasn't right. And it only took a minute to find the culprit: Expired mustard. It's impressive how one tiny ingredient can have such a big impact. After dinner while cleaning up, it hit me... That's exactly what happens in marketing. You can have: • A stunning website • Perfect copy • Beautiful graphics • Targeted ads • Stellar content But if one critical element is off... The whole campaign can fall apart. It's like having a Ferrari without the key. Beautiful to look at. Impossible to drive. The takeaway? Success isn't just about having all the right ingredients. It's about ensuring each one is fresh and effective. What's your "expired mustard" in marketing? What small detail might be holding back your business? P.S. Don't worry - I still cleared my plate and enjoyed my dinner. Thanks for the homemade meal (and lesson), Mom! ❤️ #MarketingLessons #FamilyTime #LifeLessons #QualityTime #GardeningWithMom #BusinessStrategy #PersonalGrowth

HALLOWEEN HACK: TRANSFORM PUMPKIN WASTE INTO A DELICIOUS DISCARDED CREATION: As Halloween draws near, millions of homes across the UK light up with jack-o’-lanterns, but once the spooky fun is over, many pumpkins meet an unfortunate end. Shockingly, 95% of the 10 million pumpkins grown in the UK each year are discarded after Halloween, contributing to a huge 18,000 tonnes of food waste. This year, make a change. Instead of letting those post-Halloween pumpkins go to waste, why not transform them into something magical and creatively repurpose into a fantastically delicious cocktail. Try crafting a Pumpkin Spice Daiquiri for your next spooky soirée! This wickedly good cocktail not only helps reduce waste but also stars the award-winning Discarded Spirits Banana Peel Rum – a smooth, fruity rum made from Caribbean rum blended with banana peel extract. It’s the ultimate circular serve to sip this Halloween! Did you know that it takes 240 litres of water to grow just 1kg of pumpkin? This Halloween, make sure none of that effort goes to waste by turning those pumpkins into something delicious: https://lnkd.in/eQ4zMtxR #halloween #pumpkin #recipe #discarded #news #PR #advertising #b2b #bannerad #magazine #newsletter #emailcampaigns #eat #drink #sleep #hotel #hospitality #bars #restaurants #digitalmarketingandadvertising

Refresh your fridge. Take everything out, toss anything expired or mysteriously fuzzy, clean the shelves, and replace food items, grouping similar things together. As you purchase new items, put them in the back so older items get used up first. #LiveLoveLeander #LeanderChamberofCommerce #KeepAustinOrganized #KeepingAustinOrganized #organized #declutterbee #professionalorganizer #homeorganizer #organizedhome #organizedkitchen #organizedfridge

(even longer if it works for you) Whether you are a trick or treat kind of person doesn’t matter, many of your customers will be and why not help them by getting into the spirit in some way in your bakery. Allow your staff to get creative with what they wear on the day – keeps them motivated. Now for some suggestions on how you can boost your sales with “exciting products.” Anything pumpkin will work – pumpkin scones, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cobb, and Vienna’s. Be creative with your cupcakes and cookies – think of some ghostly names for your products to help with a festive atmosphere. Most importantly communicate with your staff to all be sharing your special treats you have available for a “limited time only”. Bonus idea – think about baking really small cookies and bundling them up in a pack for customers to use as treats for the visiting kiddies on the day. With just two weeks to go until the big day, now’s the perfect time to double-check your list — and then check it again! Food Prep 🎄 Shopping: Ensure all your groceries are ordered if you’re shopping online, or add everything to your list if you’re doing it yourself. Plan where to buy specific items to save time. 🎄 Cooking Essentials: Check that you have enough cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans — and confirm they’re the right size. The last thing you want is a turkey too big for the roasting tray! 🎄 Stock Up: Don’t forget the essentials like batteries, tin foil, food wraps, and breakfast staples. It’s easy to overlook everyday items in the holiday rush. Gift Wrapping 🎄 Under the Tree: Wrap presents early and place them under the tree, but keep any Santa gifts hidden until Christmas Eve. Have a good hiding spot ready! 🎄 Pets: If any gifts include food or chocolate, keep them out of reach of curious pets until the big day. A little planning now will make for a much smoother, stress-free Christmas!
