Fair play Veolia UK for putting this measure in place think this should be a uk wide decision where too much is ending up in household waste should not only be businesses should be everyone disposing of waste to be done correctly there are so many options there to do so.
The Wales Workplace Recycling legislation comes into effect tomorrow! 🏴 From tomorrow (6th April), all businesses, charities and public sector organisations in Wales will be required to separate their waste for recycling, into waste streams including paper & card, glass, plastics and food waste. The introduction of this legislation aims to improve the quantity and quality of materials that can be recycled, supporting an ecological transformation for Welsh businesses and organisations. In 11 days time, the new Welsh workplace recycling legislations will be in force♻️ This means that from the 6th April 2024, it will become law for all non-domestic premises to separate key recyclable materials in the way the majority of Wales householder already do. The regulations effect all businesses, charities and public sector bodies. The Workplace Recycling legislation in Wales officially started on the 6th April meaning it is now law for all businesses. charities and public sector organisations to sort their waste for recycling.
