Get back! Get back! Get back to where you once belonged! Great article here about successes and failures in the Return to Office strategy of some of the world's big brands. Lessons: 1. Always ask the question what would work for you? Blanket 'be in the office' or 'work from home' rarely works for everyone. One size doesn't fit all. 2. Note that there are moments where it really matters to be in - onboarding, celebrations, new launches. 3. And remember to ensure that new joiners feel they have somewhere to be part of and someone to learn from during an in-person start. 4. Not everyone has a great workspace at home. Are you carrying out your duty of care to ensure they do? 5. Why be obsessed with the 9-5? Consider if funding peak time travel or adjusting so people don't have to come in crying from the Tube crush might make a difference to willingness to engage. 6. Co-ordinate team effort and give a why. I am way more willing to come in if I know the team will be there and we will be doing something worthwhile. How's your RTO panning out?
