It's very unfortunate how these attitude are pertinent amongst some HR professionals.
Some HR don't actually know their job, they assume the role of the bosses PA, executive assistant, bodyguard and watch dog.
This is why when you move to another industry you discover that you don't even know or practice up to 3 exclusive function of human resource.
HR personnel play a crucial role in aligning employee needs with organizational goals and ensuring a smooth, productive work environment.
Their primary roles typically include:
Recruitment and Staffing: They handle the hiring process, including job postings, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees.
Employee Relations: They address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.
Training and Development: They organize training programs and professional development opportunities to help employees grow their skills.
Compensation and Benefits: They manage salary structures, benefits programs, and payroll to ensure fair and competitive compensation.
Compliance: They ensure that the organization adheres to labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Performance Management: They oversee performance appraisal systems, set performance goals, and provide feedback.
Policy Development: They create and enforce company policies and procedures related to employee management.
Health and Safety: They work to maintain a safe work environment and manage workplace health and safety programs.
It's even sadder when you realize that simple primary functions aren't practiced holistically, what now happens to secondary roles.
HR needs to do better than being the company's CCTV.

These are the HR making life difficult for the great HR , because how will you be acting like you're cool with something, when you're not ?
All I can say is , if you want to be successful in HR , don't be like this lady

This is a reality check, for HR practitioners and leaders.
HR practitioners and leaders need to be objective and unbiased when they get information about employees, to make the right decisions.

HRP needs to learn the ethics of the confidentiality clause, like is in other profession - employee/HRP privileged information.
