Account Managers.... Unlike SDRs and AEs, prospecting is extremely different when looking to enhance your book. Being timely, strategic, and relevant are all things to consider when reaching out to your potential buyers within your accounts. Penetrating different business units within your accounts takes a lot of strategy and relevance, as it is important to leverage any referrals you can. When you're speaking with clients, remind them on your solutions benefits and what other units will prosper from it. Additionally, when reaching out to prospects, you already have a head start in your personalization due to the current partnership. Highlighting the progress and success your current clients are having with your solution is extremely important to tailor into your messaging. From there, showcase how your solution will also help them achieve XYZ (which in most cases will be different outcomes depending on persona). Remember part of your job responsibilities as an AM is to demonstrate as much value to as many people within your accounts as possible. And as always, treat your prospects exact how you treat your clients. Be a trusted business partner and always be available for them.
