They’ve banned diversity, equity, and inclusion training—and environmental justice too. 🌍💔 Today, my training was canceled an hour before it started because of new federal guidelines. This isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us. Thousands are losing jobs, and our environment is under attack. But I won’t lie—this is very hard for me personally. However I believe in the power of community, and I know we have each other. So I’m calling on you: 🌍 Here’s how you can help: 1️⃣Please boost this post. Like, comment, share. With new social media guidelines I'm worried it will be suppressed. 2️⃣Take one of my classes or workshops (I’m doubling down on what I can offer independently). 3️⃣ Donate to support my work— in order to continue this work and support my family I need your help. 4️⃣Join me on Patreon to help sustain this work. Use this link to learn more https://tap.bio/@kweenwerk We’re going to have to take this work underground. We’re building a movement rooted in community, mutual aid, and the belief that justice—environmental, social, and otherwise—is worth fighting for. Will you join me in this fight? This isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us. Thousands of people are losing their jobs. Our environment is losing its protections. Our voices are being silenced. But together? We are unstoppable. This administration is chasing down peace, justice and climate action with a vengeance. Building stronger community is important right now. I see a wealthy group of "welfare" oligarchs (subsidies and overpriced government contracts is how they keep in business) in a "pay to play" scheme with the entourage digging in to keep "business as usual". They are lost in the dark ages with no compassion for the average person. Many of them were born into money and have lived a life of privilege so can't relate. ( I realize I am a privileged white woman but we had scant money growing up in a family of 9.) Trump and entourage are intentionally trying to build fear and division to avoid anyone rising up for the badly needed changes required for these old broken systems. I was hoping we could work alongside, building new systems and then with it being a less painful transition start to replace old strategies and systems with new bit by bit. Seems a pipe dream right now... These environmentally illiterate court jesters clinging to the big orange clown pretending to be a ringmaster - never look at the big picture and see there is no business on a dead planet or a planet where you have made people so poor that they can't afford even one commemorative diet coke - let alone anything else being sold. So in the madness, I will focus on everything I can control, and hope to hell a ton of us are doing the right thing and sharing great ideas everywhere we can! It may give humanity a chance! I will be here down to the last fish, last tree, last bird or last breath - whichever comes first if it comes to that. "Saddle up, we ride at dawn!" Full exclosure all the sayings in quotes aren't mine, I would quote you if I had the bandwidth right now to chase all that down. I hope you are flattered that what you said resonated enough to mention it here! Please help this woman and anyone in a similar situation if you can!! Repost her story please! #future #environment #peace #justice #nature #biodiversity #jobs #oligarchs #welfare #diversity #equity #kindness #community

Y’all. Y’all. This is very real. This going to ricochet round the entire world and felt by us all. They do not care if the Amazon burns down and the small island slip under the sea. More diamonds and gold and, more importantly rare earth minerals and oil to exploit under the Amazon and the Congo after it burns and more oil to drill when the glaciers melt. They’re happy. And if it gets rid of these pesky environmental defenders and poor people and eventual refugees and terrorists, then all the better. Joy upon joy. Why do you think children are targets? Bc they grow up to become more refugees and terrorists. We’ve heard them say it. Listen. Listen right now. You environmental peeps need to understand how it is ALL connected, from Congo to g a z a to Lubumba to Soweto to the Amazon to your phone to BLM to Vzla bounty to Roman salutes to everything. Everything. Everything. The solutions are not top down carbon markets, because you are giving them the keys to…. Sigh… you know what? In due course. We’ll have lots of chats in the days that come. But understand that the soution is COMMUNITY. Harmony. Unity. With ourselves, with nature, and dare I say, even with the ancestors. We need to regrow the food and medicine gardens in addition to regenerating the forests. This, what these clowns are talking about? You cannot thrive in an apocalypse.

I’m furious! 😤 In times of change, it’s often the most transformative initiatives like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) that face the greatest challenges. These programs aren’t just policies or checkboxes; they represent hope, belonging, and opportunity for countless individuals who have long been underrepresented and undervalued. When DEI initiatives are reduced or dismantled, it’s more than a setback; it’s a loss of progress, a step away from fairness, and a blow to the dream of building spaces where everyone, regardless of background, has a chance to thrive. We can’t afford to lose the momentum that DEI has created. These efforts are about more than representation; they’re about fostering innovation, collaboration, and stronger communities that embrace differences rather than fear them. Now, more than ever, we must speak up for inclusion, stand firm in equity, and continue creating opportunities where none existed before. Progress is a collective effort and it starts with the commitment to keep pushing forward, even when it’s hard. Let’s keep the conversation alive, advocate for what’s right, and build a future where DEI isn’t just a nice-to-have but it’s a must-have. ❓How have you been affected with this change?

Reuben Green and John P. Cordle, Dr. Eng, Pdt (Prolific Disruptive Thinker) I have tremendous respect for the work that both of you do. I have a question on the Executive Order that ended DEI and the potential for “good trouble” responses. So my understanding is DEI programs were essentially measures to counter impacts of existing discrimination(race, gender, etc) within US government agenda, right? It appears DEI as a label has been twisted against that purpose. Would it make sense to change/adapt tactics here, given that DEI is a label and the underlying goal continues to be reducing discrimination? Would relabeling DEI into Discrimination Reduction Offices or Office to Reduce Racial Discrimination, etc be a potential counter? The idea being abandoning the label of DEI and potentially forcing the media to ask if trump is willing to also close Offices to Reduce Racial Discrimination, basically putting a fine, clear point on it. Is there any merit to an approach like this?
