The OC has a total of 40 learning modules which include video and text modules along with the hands on labs that you'll be working on at the end of the modules. The first one is a general introduction to the SEC 100 Cyber Core Security Essentials and then you'll go into the anatomy of cybersecurity. This is where you'll cover common threats and vulnerabilities and the importance of protective defense. Next up, you'll cover cybersecurity frameworks and standards. Now this is most likely now course that you can complete in a weekend just because of how extensive the information is. Each module has multiple sub modules and you're going to be learning. Lot of information at once. Just to give you an idea of how extensive the topics covered are. A few examples include cybersecurity frameworks and standards, Linux basics, Windows basics, data transformation fundamentals, Python And PowerShell, scripting fundamentals, networking fundamentals, enterprise network fundamentals, introduction to firewalls, cloud computing, AI, cryptography, and all this is still before covering the offensive and defensive security skills that you'll be learning as part of this course. Once you cover those foundational modules, then you'll be moving into offensive security and I don't think. Any other certification or course provider out there is going to cover this better than Offsec. As part of the offensive security modules, you'll be covering penetration testing, information gathering and enumeration, understanding a web attack, how to attack endpoints, defense, evasion, and offensive cloud fundamentals. These are essentially going to be your foundational offensive cyber security knowledge and skills that you'll be learning, especially if you're interested in CTF or capture the flags, going into it by teaming role or even just becoming a more well-rounded cyber security professional by knowing the basics of offensive security. Next up, you'll be covering it. Offensive cyber security skills. This is all things SoC and personally for myself, as someone who has worked on Blue Team and DRC for internal and external audits, I can attest to how relevant the information in this course is. Because if I had this course at the beginning of my career, I would have saved so much time and headache from learning everything on my own from scratch. As part of Defensive security, you'll be covering SoC management processes, vulnerability management, malware analysis, social engineering and phishing, ransomware, DDoS and availability, Wi-Fi security, embedded systems, risk management. And even industrial control systems and operational technology, which is based on my experience going through the course modules, I would say the defensive security portion is very in depth for being intercourse and covers topics that most beginners cyber security courses wouldn't specifically on embedded systems and industrial control systems. And that also shows how much planning has gone into these modules because embedded systems are not something that we think about every day and they're definitely not covered by most intro server security courses, but they are everywhere, including our cars, our smartphones, our drones and many other devices that we use on a daily basis.
