Cohort 2 will present small-group capstone presentations during the program. One of the groups will focus on politics of the minority. As animal agriculture leaders work to ensure the economic, environmental, and social sustainability of our industry sector, they will become better prepared to “navigate” the formation of policy and regulations at the local, state, national, and global levels. Vice President, Sustainability | Net Zero | Climate-Smart Agriculture | Biodiversity | Livestock Grazing | Supply Chain Transparency
At AgriWebb, we believe that farmers' perspectives should inform the design of any new program or tool. For that reason, we annually survey almost a thousand grazing operations around the world to hear producers' thoughts. We are excited to share that our 2024 survey has just gone out! I'm especially intrigued to see the answers to these sustainability questions: - What types of biodiversity related practices do you employ or plan to employ? - What climate-related practices do you employ or plan to employ?( Eg, animal lifecycle management, improved grazing, feed composition, genetics, reduced fertilizer use, etc.) - Are you currently participating in any carbon or sustainability programs? - What features would you most like to see AgriWebb make available to you? (e.g., virtual fencing & GPS ear tags, soil sample documentation, remote sensing of forage, etc.) Our team will share the results with everyone as soon as they are in. If you would like to receive our newsletter with a link once the report is available, please email sustainability@agriwebb.com. I'd also be grateful for anyone willing to share this survey link with grazers you know who might be willing to share their thoughts. We want to hear from them! https://lnkd.in/gnRWyCzi #climate #biodiversity #grazing William Burnidge Sam Wildman Nancy Labbe Western Landowners Alliance Point Blue Conservation Science Wendy Millet Samantha Werth, PhD Katie Ambrose CJ Blew Brett Spader Mike Williams Katie Jeanne Roberti Chad Ellis Garth Boyd, Ph.D. Michael Delbar Erik Glenn Rich Bradbury James Clement Andrew Ward (Wardy) Sarah C.
