Sign up for this webinar in mid-July on young workers! The trend is alarming on work-related young worker fatalities and serious injuries. Their lack of experience, being placed in jobs they aren’t supposed to do, and reluctance to speak up are just a few of the reasons why young workers are sustaining injury in the workplace. Employers should treat all workers the same (FT, PT, temporary, or seasonal) with new hire training, OTJ training, and distribution of PPE.

Businesses that meet these two threshold questions will need to register with the state and submit an application by the deadline: (1) whether the business is required to file an annual Employer Information Report EEO-1 with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; and (2) whether the business had at least 100 employees who worked at a location in Illinois or were remote but reported directly to Illinois management on Dec. 31, 2023.
