Experienced Innovation Management Consultant adept in software implementations, business development, and driving business growth through technology-driven solutions.
Innovation should be woven into the fabric of a company's ethos. A shining example of this is Google, where employees are given dedicated hours each week to pursue their own projects. This approach not only encourages creativity but also celebrates successful initiatives and good ideas with meaningful rewards. Offering genuine incentives, like a share in the success or a deep sense of belonging to the company's mission. It fosters a culture of innovation far more effectively than token gestures. Many companies aspire to be labeled as innovative, yet sometimes fall short by merely making grand statements about innovation without backing it up with action. In contrast, the most innovative companies cultivate environments that challenge employees with creative projects, reward their successes, and provide resources for taking calculated risks. They make their employees feel valued and encourage them to proudly voice their innovative ideas. True innovation is not the domain of a single leader or an evangelist with a podcast; it belongs to everyone within the organization. It thrives among those who are willing to step beyond their usual roles and dare to envision the extraordinary.
“Why is it that innovations require heroics to occur in our organization? Why don’t we have a repeatable process for innovation?” Steve Blank https://lnkd.in/gd4t3BqK

Simplifying chaos and increasing efficiencies for small to medium size businesses. Fractional COO / Process Implementation / Cross Functional Leadership
Great session at FINNOVATION Lab today focused on the importance of having a strategy for innovation. “Just because you have a product idea doesn’t mean you should launch a product”. A stage gate process helps you think through important strategic questions. Great job Jennifer Barta, MBA and Allison!
