But what do they really mean, and how do they differ? 🔹 Lead Time is the total time from when an order is placed until it's fulfilled. It includes waiting time, processing time, and even delivery. It represents the customer’s experience from request to delivery. 🔹 Cycle Time, on the other hand, is the time it takes to complete just the work or production of the item.
