CT logging #coiledtubing #logging #operations Logging refers to the downhole surveys carried out with very specialized electronic tools to gather detailed information on the formation and wellbore. A wireline cable inside the CT string is connected to the wireline unit on the surface, allowing the log to be carried, monitored, and recorded in the same way as a wireline log. BHA for CT logging 1 -CT logging heads: -CT modular head (CTMH) 2 -CT logging disconnects -CT wired disconnect (CTWD) -CT tension disconnect (CTTD) 3 -CT logging support tools -CT quick stab (CTQS) -CT deployment bar (CTDB). The mandrel on the CTDB has the same OD as the CT string. A-CT logging head : mechanical connection to the CT string , double check valve assembly, Fluid circulation ports allow fluid or nitrogen circulation or N2 lifting as part of the program,A disconnect releases the logging toolstring if it becomes stuck and cannot be recovered. Ball-activated disconnect tools cannot be used because of the electrical cable inside. B-CT modular head (CTMH) : it was designed to provide a reliable and easily assembled connection between wireline tools and a CT logging string. C-Disconnects for CT logging:Disconnects for CT logging are required to provide a means of controlled CT toolstring release if the logging tools become stuck in the wellbore.
