The below figure emphasizes the importance of Non-Destrictive Testing,especially Boroscopic inspection, which regularly should carry out on plane engines. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), also known as Non-Destructive Evaluation and Non-Destructive Inspection. Non-Destructive Inspection techniques including the following methods: 01)) : Penetrant. 02)) : Radiographic. 03)) : Eddy current. 04)) : Ultrasonic. 05)) : Boroscope, which concerning the below case. What is Boroscopic Inspection ? Boroscopic Inspection is a visual inspection, carried out, by means of boroscope which is a device that allowing to see in extremely small and difficult to reach places. A borescope , as shown on the below figure, consists of a rigid or flexible tube housing the optical relays from the distal end to the viewing eyepiece. Boroscopic Inspection is a part of the industrial equipment Condition-based maintenance range. Boroscopic inspection purposes:  01. Detecting incipient weakness in engine's bucked and vanes. 02 . Predicting engine componentse under test remaining life. 03. Getting benchmark reference reading of the engine, when it is new, clean, dry and free from impurties.

Thermite Welders Qualifications These are the qualifications and expectations for a proficient thermite welder in the railway industry. 1. Adherence to Safety and MOW Rules: Must rigorously follow safety regulations and Maintenance of Way (MOW) standards. 2. FRA Qualification: Should meet all Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) requirements for thermite welding. 3. Adherence to Welding Procedures: Must execute thermite welds following proper thermite welding procedures. 4. Compliance with Engineering Instructions: Expected to understand and follow Engineering Instructions for weld installation. 5. Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining all thermite welding equipment and hydraulic tools in optimal condition. 6. Rail Expander Knowledge: Must be skilled in using and maintaining the rail expander. 7. Hyrail and Boom Certification: Should be certified for hyrail and boom operation and capable of installing rails according to specifications. 8. Rail Identification: Able to correctly identify the rails required for each installation. 9. CWR Policy Compliance: Installs thermite welds per Continuous Welded Rail (CWR) policies. 10. Physical Fitness: Needs to be physically fit to maintain productivity and safety in the field. Hi LinkedIn... I missed being here!!!. I've been working on load of things in recent times and researches has gone through different stages. Yes I'm a welder and I'm passionate about my skill. But!!! the treatment I've received has a welder in factory work has been disheartening, heartbreaking and not multivating... unlike field work like rig welding, factory welders are treated with high level of disrespect, from salary structure to the way we're being addressed. Imagine a company where the power house is the welding section and yet welder working for them are the least paid after janitors 😭. it breaks my heart when I see the policies made without considering what welders are going through working hard in an unfavorable condition and yet given less regard. we deserve better Company owners should pls remember that welding work is full of hazards and most of this hazards in welding working turns out to be disastrous in future mostly as a result of fumes and arc radiation. #lamentation_of_a_welder #welders_lives_matters #weldingessentials #professionalwelders #x_traywelders These are my pains in summary
