POETRY FOR PEACE Well, it looks like I'm launching the first flashmob of my life. Rare, but exciting 🙂 To be honest, I've always had a soft spot for #poetry. After all, I'm the daughter of an 18th-century English literature specialist on Romanticism; it couldn't leave my mental state untouched 😆 Moreover, lately, I've been uncovering real poets around me. And lastly, I've always wondered why we so rarely recite poetry for important causes that bring us together. So, I started doing it myself, and now I invite you to join me in this game with some very interesting rules. Rules: 🥹 Choose a poem — preferably in English — so the whole world can hear your symbolic call for peace and reconciliation. It can also be an expression of grief or anger caused by the loss of loved ones, or joy upon their return home. Poems do the impossible — they express something beyond description. ❤️ If you're willing to repost the poem recitation on my special section "Poetry for Peace" on my YouTube channel, I'll provide subtitles and promotion for each of you. But you can express your feelings about any conflict that touches you deeply. This includes diverse places and circumstances, from genocide in regions with no single word in media about it - to domestic violence.
