I figure I should do this kind of post about jobs I'm looking for and what I did at my last positions on a high level. First, what am I looking for. I feel like my skills best fit for Analyst roles - business, data, financial, operations, etc. Throughout my career after my call center rolls I've been in several positions where my job is to find issues and fix them - be it in Operations and Front End space, Accounting, or in Carrier Relations. Also I want to stay remote, but if the office is close enough I'm OK going 1 or 2 days a week if I'm actually needed in the office (not to go in just to go in and do 100% what I could do at home) At Lumen, my main job was to take a vendor, pull their invoices for the last 6 months into Excel, and verify any changes. I would also work with the liaison for the vendor at Lumen and determine if certain charges I found could be disputed or if I knew they could be disputed I would. There would also be times I worked with the liaison to get historical data and look through that to see about any trends or charges for dispute opportunities. While I would say I'm pretty good at Excel, I don't know much about SQL or Python....yet. I'm going to begin learning SQL, brush up on some skills I haven't used in a while - like Excel and Power BI - and if there is time start on Python. So if you know of any openings that sound like I'd be a good fit, please let me know! Also if you can share this post to get more eyes on it, that would also be really helpful! #opentowork #lookingforanewjob #analyst #aboutme #pleaseshare #repost

Can a Data Entry Career Evolve Into Lucrative IT Opportunities? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gZjw3fAH #CareerChange #DataEntry #ITJobs #TechTransition #CareerAdvice Hey everyone! 😊 I've been in data entry for about 10 years now. It’s been a comfy gig with lots of freedom, low stress, and even remote work for almost a decade. However, I've noticed that the pay isn't great, especially with rising living costs. Plus, I can't shake off the feeling that my role might be taken over by AI at any moment, considering I work for a tech firm. Here's where I could use your insights: My Daily Tools: I handle in-house software for data sourcing, use Excel, occasionally work with FileZilla, and communicate through Teams and Outlook. No Formal IT Education: I don’t have a degree in IT, which makes me wonder about my options. Volunteer Experience: I've been volunteering with at-risk youth, which I hope counts for something when it comes to applying for new roles. Now, my burning question: Can my experience in data entry really open the door to something bigger in the IT sector, or do I need to pivot entirely into a new career? 🤔 I’m looking for any paths where ...
