Smaller shows have less barriers to entry for sponsors, as well as attendees. They’re more affordable, therefore more appealing. The vendor showcase is not nearly as overwhelming, being there aren’t endless rows of booths to visit, making it easy for the attendees to interact with more vendors, increasing visibility for the sponsors.
Is your ROI going to be better attending 1 big conference at $65-100k (base sponsorships 👀) when you’ll only see a fraction of traffic? Or will it be better going to 5-6 smaller shows, with more booth traffic during vendor showcases?
I think the latter…
