"There's something about a call center, and its effects haven't left me even to this day. As we build the most valued assisted healthcare firm, everything I am doing now takes me back to the early 2000s. I was once a pizza delivery boy who got an opportunity to work in a call center, and it changed my life completely. It was a pivotal point in my life; probably that's why I had to go through 9 rounds of interviews before I got the nod. The focus was always to provide the best customer experience. I started with calls and slowly moved to chat care. Today, as we build Vet Chat, a product of DogSwag, the focus is still the same. ~How fast can you get a Pet Parent connected to a Vet? As time is of the essence. ~The quality of the conversation is more important than the number of chats. ~Is the diagnosis and the medication spot on? ~What is the follow-up mechanism and closure? So, a lot of what I am doing today is based on lessons and learning from the past. You've got two PTs cranking out visits and things are running like a well-oiled machine. Congrats! But don't stop there. It's time to think even BIGGER. Here are 4 reasons WHY you need a third PT: Reason #1: Step away from treatment A third PT lets you focus on running the show without getting pulled back into the treatment room. Reason #2: Take a breather With three PTs, you can actually take a vacation or hit up a conference without your practice slowing down. Reason #3: Create a safety net Life happens. If one of your PTs needs to take time off, your practice becomes disruption proof. Reason #4: Serve more patients A third PT means you can help more people in your community. It's a win-win. But here's the key: only bring on that third PT after your first two are crushing it and you're bringing in some more profits. A third PT isn't just about buying yourself some free time. It's about building a practice that can operate without you.

🚑 Happy EMS Week day five! Today is Save-A-Life Day, focusing on how the general public (not just EMS) can help save lives! Let's learn about CPR for the layperson, which is a simplified version of what EMS professionals are trained to do! 👉 Check out the fun video we made above for an overview of layperson CPR! Here are the steps if you find someone unconscious: 1. Check for responsiveness - gently tap the person's shoulder and shout, "Are you okay?" and see if there is a response. If not, move to step 2! 2. Call, or direct someone to call, 911 right away. 3. Check for breathing (put your ear near their mouth and nose and look, listen and feel for any breaths). 4. If you don't find any breaths, begin CPR! 5. Place your hands in the center of the person's chest and stack your hands one on top of the other. Lean forward on your knees so your shoulders are over your hands. 6. Push down hard and fast (about 2 inches deep), but be sure to completely remove pressure when you are not pushing down to let the heart receive blood. 7.
