Insights on Teacher Diversity and Its Impact on Student Cultural Identity in Abu Dhabi I’m excited to share the findings from my master’s dissertation, which investigated the influence of teacher diversity on students' cultural identities in Abu Dhabi public schools. Through a systematic review, my research revealed that a diverse teaching staff positively impacts students by broadening their cultural understanding and enhancing their sense of identity. Teachers who embrace cultural competence create more inclusive and supportive learning environments, which significantly benefits students from various backgrounds. The research highlights the need for enhanced cultural competence training for educators. I recommend integrating cultural competency workshops and intercultural teaching training into professional development programs. Additionally, implementing policies that include cultural competence training in teacher preparation programs could further support educators in creating enriching, welcoming classrooms for students from all backgrounds. I hope these insights contribute to ongoing discussions about diversity and inclusion in education. #TeacherDiversity #CulturalCompetence #EducationResearch #StudentCulturalIdentity #AbuDhabi

Educator - Ministry of Education – UAE l SEL Coach | Teacher Trainer | Curriculum Expert | Global Speaker
🎥Sharing Insight- In conversation with Seeding Brains🎥 One of the most discussed topics for anyone living in the Emirates is the schools in Dubai and their fees💲👨🏫💲 . The school system in Dubai offers a wide range of fees, reflecting the variety of educational options available. Fees vary considerably depending on the curriculum, reputation of the school, KHDA grade and facilities offered. There are schools that have to reject admission due to the high quality of education and affordable fees because there are too many applicants. On the other hand, there are schools that charge high fees and have to compete with other schools that offer similar facilities and competitive prices. #dubaischools #educationdubai #UAE #KHDA #educationsystem #fees #IB #CBSE #IGCSE #dxblife #curriculum #businessindubai

Exciting News from Dubai’s Education Sector: A New Milestone! The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched an innovative initiative – the Learner’s Passport – as part of Dubai’s ‘Education Strategy 2033’. This passport will now be issued to every newborn in Dubai, ensuring that no child is left behind when it comes to their right to education. The system will track children’s educational journeys from birth, helping parents make informed decisions about their future. By identifying those of compulsory school age who haven’t enrolled yet, the initiative takes immediate action to guarantee their education. Key elements of the Education Strategy 2033 include: • Empowering parents with educational awareness. • Enhancing teachers’ skills and offering modern training methods. • Promoting diverse educational pathways, including vocational training. • Strengthening Arabic language skills and cultural identity. • Increasing the number of Emirati teachers by 10%. • And much more! Together, let’s support initiatives that ensure the next generation is prepared for the challenges of tomorrow! #EducationStrategy2033 #DubaiEducation #KHDA #LearnersPassport #InclusiveEducation #EvergreenBusinessmenServices

In the sixth year of celebrating the "International Day of Education," our focus aligns with the theme of 'learning for lasting peace.' This year, our celebrations revolve around a high-level dialogue on learning for lasting peace and the essence of "Learning to take care of oneself, others, and the planet."🤍 In a world witnessing an increase in violent conflicts, it's critical to emphasize the importance of fostering a strong commitment to peace. This dedication is rooted in education, a fundamental cornerstone underscored by UNESCO's principles of "Education for Peace, Human Rights, and Sustainable Development." By recognizing that violence transcends geographical, gender, racial, religious, political, and digital boundaries, we acknowledge that education must be transformative. It should empower learners with knowledge, values, attitudes, and skills to become agents of peace within their communities. In the words of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, "When we talk about education, we don't only mean your time in school. Education is a collective pursuit that requires the efforts of families, parents, society, and our countries' institutions. We take pride in each one of you, proud of the individuals you will become and the accomplishments you will achieve."🤍 As we commemorate this International Day of Education, let us renew our commitment to learning for lasting peace, fostering a world where education becomes a powerful force for positive transformation and a beacon of hope for a harmonious future. 📚📝 #linkedincommunity #unesco #uae #community #education
