85% of job Phillips are actually through networking events. Networking events are very, very important for the success of any entrepreneur. Be employer, employee, startup. Whoever you are, to succeed in what you're doing, you need to get involved in networking. And it will even surprise you to know that 40% of the success of small businesses startups is always time. And it works. It's because they went to an event somewhere and the sad one-on-one with somebody and they had their personal experience and that's how they're converting those leads, you know, into customers into clients. And it is very important for you and I to know that networking events are very important. So make the best out of your networking events and do everything to come out will result in networking events. There are some three things for you to avoid when you are doing the. Networking events The first thing to avoid is that avoid talking a lot. When you go to networking events where you meet people, spend less time with them. Two or three minutes is good. Connect with them to the business card, to social media handles and then you can do conversations with them after that particular networking event. The second thing you should do during networking events is that avoid talking much about yourself and listen to what the person is saying about himself or herself. What that means is that limit how much you can pour about what you do, who you are, what you want to do. And listen, because every human being loved to see individual that they listen to, you know, if I can have someone who want to listen to me, I would definitely want to connect more with the person. Just the same thing if you were talking to somebody and he keeps on talking and interrogating you and interrupt you, what you're saying, I mean, I don't know if they you don't want to connect with that person again. So when you go to networking events, make sure that you listen more to the person talking. And when you do that, you could report. And once there's that rapport, people want to connect more with you, people want to talk with you. I want to connect you and the last thing you should never do during networking events is to make yourself to feed created by human beings. Don't like when you are making yourself to feel peated and you will be amazed to learn this. The moment a prospect, the moment elite feels pitied above you or the moment they are feeling pitied about what you're telling them, what you are, what you are, your personality, that is a no go zone. They don't want to buy from you. They cannot become the customers and the clients of yours as you intended them to be. So do everything possible to make your leads, to make the people you meet in networking events not to feel pity because people don't buy from people in the field pitted about. If someone is peated above you, he can likely help you, can support you, but he cannot wanna buy from you. So because people don't want to buy from people that don't make them to feed people all. So don't make yourself better. What do you do? Make sure you look clean. Didn't look presentable, Make sure you look, you know, accepting and appealing before you go for networking events means that you have to brush your teeth, brush your teeth, you have to clean an iron your shirt and your soup. Do it have to shine your shoes? Shine your shoes because you said some things that will make people attracted to you and want to listen more from you. And of course, not only that, make sure you have a good perfume so that your personality should be so attractive to the people you want to connect and attract through your networking event. My name is Manisha and I'm looking forward to seeing the top chess.
