A Bhavanite from Hyderabad getting further enlightened at Christ University, Bangalore

Thrilled to announce that I completed an online course from SWAYAM Plus that is Behavioural Finance which was a 8 weeks course started in January 2024 with a total score of 57.2% which was offered by KIIT - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology , Bhubaneswar. KEY LEARNINGS FROM THIS COURSE: -Psychological biases, such as overconfidence, loss aversion, and herd behavior, influence investors' decision-making, leading to irrational actions like prolonged investment losses or excessive trading. -Market inefficiencies and anomalies, influenced by collective human behavior, can be exploited by investors to improve their investment strategies. -Behavioral portfolio theory emphasizes emotional influence in financial decisions, balancing returns with psychological needs like security and aspirations, enabling better portfolio management and risk tolerance. It has undoubtedly aided in my understanding of finance, which is useful in the commercial world.
