This week I hosted an Open Mic Pitch Night by Founder Institute Berlin / Germany and SIBB Startups - SIBB e.V. - Digitalverband Berlin & Brandenburg The rule is simple: walk in and pitch (3 min pitch, audio only) and get direct feedback from experienced startup mentors. I'm always amazed by the quantity of good business ideas people are trying to launch on the market! The room was full of good energy, with many people wanting to pitch, an engaged and supportive audience, with 3 dedicated mentors giving highly valuable feedback: Etta Dannemann, Antony Tikhonov and Vivek Sharma In total, 9 persons could pitch within the event timeframe (only 1 woman out of 8 men!!), they were good and structured, here are the 3 most repeated comments to each brave pitcher: ⭐ Set the context, start with one sentence summarizing the general idea or setting up the context ⭐ Why Now? Why is this important and should be solved right now? ⭐ Your Superpower, your team! At the idea stage, one of the most valuable aspects is you and your team.
