A great visual representation of how the real and virtual worlds are merging. I'm curious what this holds for the future of cinema. Will we go to see "movies" in this kind of 360 immersive environment? Theaters have had surround sound for a long time, but what about "surround video"?
If you don't quite get the meaning of #UX, i.e. #UserExperience, this is the demonstration. Today, the #arts sector seems to lead with the immersive customer experience. And, it's equally fantastic when seen on a small or large screen. That's because we are now completely at home inside the digital experience.
Yet, it is still difficult to create the UX on business #websites, one that will attract and compel to Action. User experience on a #smallbusiness website can be just a simple but unique graphic design (time for a refresh?); or an obsessive sharing of helpful #knowledge on a topic that matters to your customers; or #navigation that saves time and is delightful; or #CTAs that feel like a friend's invitation to a dinner, rather than a scary command.
Like any good design, in #UX it's big thinking and the little things that make all the difference.
Two things to consider here.
One: this kind of UX doesn't happen in a vacuum but as a process of a superb understanding your customers, a business vision that goes beyond one #marketingcampaign, and then the #creative / #thoughtleadership work.
Two: once a great, #evergreen experience has been created on your company website, it will generate a powerful momentum for growth.
According to UNESCO intangible cultural heritage are the traditions or living expressions inherited from our ancestors and passed on to our descendants, among others the knowledge and skills to produce traditional crafts.
All over the world capable hands replicate movements that have developed during centuries and they create traditional objects as well as innovative elements.
Museums are the perfect place to learn about the past, the lace schools such us the Il Giardino dei Punti in Milan or workshops like UnPizzo in Cantu are the perfect place to meet women that are innovating today.
In all our journeys the encounter with those who preserve and pass down intangible cultural heritage is central.
People are our main destination.
Today is International Museum Day and we celebrate it from the Museo del Merletto (Lace Museum) in #Burano, Venice, where to discover this ancient and fascinating art.

Welcome to the museum of artisme.
This is a museum where no one tells you what to think. What to feel. What to decide.
This is theo’s museum: Where art is you. And art is me.
Where the final conclusion is up to us to decide:
Do I like the piece of art? Or do I not? Am I inspired? Or am I not?
Just like the moment you put on a piece of the artisme collection.
Do I like it? Or do I not?
The answer is simple. The answer is yours.

#Cyprus remains a divided island 🇨🇾
That is why the #EEAGrants support the CVAR Museum in #Nicosia in an attempt to bring the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities together. 🤝👫
The museum displays collections that show the unique cultural identity of the island through over 10.000 historic writings, art, clothing and much more.

My latest article for #TheArtNewspaper on a play by activist investors to shutter a museum and potentially liquidate its collection all in the name of better shareholder returns.
It may looks like an art museum but through the eyes of Hong Kong-based #OasisManagement the Kawamura Memorial Museum of Art, which houses one of the most impressive collections of 20th Century Western art in Japan and one of only four #RothkoRooms in the world (along with Contemporary Japanese art), is little more than an underperforming capital asset that needs to be sold off and downsized or shut down.
As part of this move the museum's entire collection has been listed with a book value thatis far below the amount the museum sold a single work by Barnett Newman in 2013 ...
Known as #vultureinvestors, #OasisManagement has a track record of upending companies and ousting board members and CEOs to get their way.
Despite the mayor of Sakura City and the Governor of Chiba prefecture publilcy putting their support behind a petition it was up to a concerned local to start one - if you inclined here's the link ->https://chng.it/8gmYtmRmSn#profitsoverpeople#corporatesocialresponsibility
The Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum Art, operated by the chemical manufacturer DIC and home to one of world's only four Rothko rooms, may have to downsize or close for good

One of the most fascinating aspects of art is its ability to evoke different meanings and interpretations from the viewer.
During my recent visit to the Didrichsen Art Museum , I came across a piece called "Dialogue" that really captured this essence. The analysis of the piece emphasized the idea that there is no way to not interpret what we see in art, and that this interpretation requires interaction between the viewer and the piece.
Have you come across any pieces lately that have left you contemplating their meaning? #interpretation#dialogue
New publication! My essay, 'I am not a Surrealist; I am Surrealism: Dalí, Surrealism, and the Centennial,' was published in English and Japanese by the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art in their recent travelling exhibit catalogue.
