Today as we celebrate and honor Juneteenth we must remember our responsibility and commitment to the Diversity and Inclusion of People of Color in Economic Opportunities. We must remain vigilant and proactive in the fight for equity and the equal rights to build wealth! We cannot be afraid and intimidated by entities that want to turn the Civil Rights movement and Civil Rights Laws against People of Color and use it to continue to advance a white only agenda! I stand for the inclusion of everyone! Black, Brown and Whites (specifically of those that have also been left behind). In a perfect world, we are all going to be equal, and will be afforded the same opportunities. Until we get there, we need to support those initiatives that give those groups that have historically been marginalized and stripped of their rights throughout generations, the opportunities they deserve and need to build wealth, just like those opportunities that so many white groups have been enjoying historically throughout generations. The Inclusion of All! Opportunities for All! Wealth for All! Is what we want, have the right to and deserve. In solidarity, a Black Latina.
