In just 2 months since its commercial launch in China, Wakix(R) (pitolisant) has already made a significant impact by helping over 500 Chinese patients combat narcolepsy. This rapid progress mirrors the success seen in the US, where ~6,000 American patients now benefit from this innovative treatment, approved in 2019. Narcolepsy is a rare yet challenging disease that affects daily life in countless ways. The journey of Wakix in China is a testament to RareStone's commitment to bringing life-changing treatments to those affected by rare diseases. As Q1'24 draws to a close, we're filled with gratitude for what has been achieved and excitement for the promise Wakix holds. Vidhata Foundation actively engages in this area through Rogi Sahyta Yojana. Our foundation hosts medical camps tailored to identify those affected by silicosis early on. Early detection is paramount, as it not only amplifies the prospects of recovery but also diminishes the mortality rate associated with this perilous ailment. To combat the repercussions of silicosis, we offer comprehensive medical assistance, encompassing hospitalization and other essential treatments. Our overarching objective is to mitigate the fatalities attributed to silicosis and provide a safety net to the vulnerable population of the tribal belt.
