Another interesting overview for this 2023 in #Fintech from The Fintech Times. Not only neobanks are playing a growing role in the MENA region for an easier and more transparent relationship with credit, as the access to traditional financial services remains a challenge for both individuals and SMEs. But also that challenger banks themselves are being adopted by the traditional institutions, whether they have launched their own neo-digital services and/or acquired ones. Additionally, there are independent players able to effectively partner with the entire finance market, from traditional banks, to telcomms, to international tech companies, supported by government activities -which substantially play a larger role in inspiring the rise of disruptive services- especially for the SMEs' credit access and unbanked population.
