The reach of linear TV and BVoD shouldn’t be underestimated. However, the natural next step for retailers to maximize the reach and impact of their first-party data (1P) is expanding Retail Media into the Open Web (Functional Internet) and Connected TV (CTV). Recently, I noticed a digital display at a One Stop store on a busy street, serving ads not only to people walking into the store but also to passersby. This graph suggests that we’ll likely see more retailers leveraging their physical infrastructure as advertising channels. It's an exciting time for Retail Media!
