The event featured a DJ, trivia, food, drinks, and a drag show, creating a lively atmosphere embracing the spirit of Pride Month. Last Friday we celebrated the awards. Today, we celebrated the people behind the awards. A grand haul of 18 wins. 7 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Bronze and 1 Grand Prix! Whilst holding bragging rights for ‘effectiveness’, we are beyond ecstatic to also be crowned as most ‘creative’ at the recent 4As Advertising Festival. We are in a business of ideas and people. And thus, these awards are a culmination in the strong conviction of belief in our ideas and pushing to sell through to the client. We salute the 4As for a brilliantly organized and concluded festival, our clients who believe in us, and the team that rallies together - rain or shine - to bring it all to fruition. We believe dissatisfaction is the mother of reinvention. That’s why our icon is the octopus. My weekend wasn't filled with activities of what I would ordinarily do. Instead, it was one more than just a breather, a gateway to some incredible stuff. The weekend was a rollercoaster of awesomeness! I got this sweet invite to the BrandCom Awards, and guys, it was amazing. The BrandCom Awards, they're like the Oscars for brands, you know? It's not just about doing well; it's about nailing the art of marketing and communication. It's like a massive symphony where each brand plays its unique tune, leaving an unforgettable mark. But this award gig wasn't just about beautiful plaques and applauds. It was a chance to salute the brains behind these successful brands. As I sat there, surrounded by applause and cheers, I couldn't help but daydream, "One day, that's gonna be me!" But it wasn't all about daydreams. I rubbed shoulders with some top men and women in the marketing world. Conversations flowed, ideas bounced around, and the vibe was electric. A special shoutout to Brand Communicator for throwing this legendary event! They shone the spotlight on these amazing brands and the people making magic happen. Thanks for being there and making it wonderful! 😊 As a team manager, award nights are special because we want to make them as memorable as possible for our team. 🏆 Here’s what we do to make it an unforgettable night: Before the Event -Prepare Party Poppers and Flowers: The excitement starts as we pick beautiful flowers and party poppers. 🌸 🎉 (Yes, these items do get sold out, and we face hiccups like the party poppers not getting delivered due to too many being purchased at a go😂) -Hyping for the Event: We create buzz leading up to it with reminders of how significant this event is and recap their focus and positive traits to getting there📢✨ During the Event: -Coordinate the Winners: The team ensures the winners have their big moment on stage. We hand them flowers, shoot the party poppers, and cheer loudly. 🌟👏 we make sure to tell them how proud we are of them. ❤️ Post-Event: -Memorable Highlights: We edit the photos and videos to make a highlight reel for their Instagram and Wechat! 🎥📸 Hearing feedback from the team, like “This was the best award night ever!” and “I felt so appreciated!” makes all the effort worth it. 🥰 To other managers, what else could we have done to make the winners feel memorable and special? 💡
