City Council Dist. 29 candidate, Advisory Board at Queens District Attorney's Office, Advisor at Sikh organisations (paid for by Sukhi Singh For NYC)
In the heartbeat of the nation, I stand as a New Yorker deeply entrenched in the pulse of our city's issues. Education, safety, housing—each challenge faced by my fellow New Yorkers resonates with me profoundly. It's not just about policies; it's about lives, dreams, and the essence of our community. In the realm of education, I advocate for accessible, quality learning that empowers every student. Our schools should be beacons of opportunity, fostering growth and knowledge. Safety is paramount; every New Yorker deserves a secure environment. Community policing, mental health support — these aren't just buzzwords; they're pathways to a safer city. Housing is a cornerstone issue. I believe in affordable, dignified living for all. The struggles of finding a home in the city should not be a burden but an avenue to stability and growth. As a New Yorker, I'm committed to addressing these issues with concrete solutions and amplifying the voices of our diverse community. Join me in this journey. Let's build a New York that's not just a city of skyscrapers but a tapestry of thriving, united neighborhoods. Together, we can face challenges, spark change, and ensure that the spirit of the city remains resilient and vibrant. 🌆🤝 #NYCCommunity #SukhiForChange

My vision for Winston-Salem is to make our best moments this moment, not in the past. We can unleash explosive growth in this city through some key strategic initiatives; — Elect a new mayor and recruit proactive economic developers that are laser focused on creating jobs and boosting economic mobility. — Reinvigorate downtown by restructuring the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership with fresh leadership, creating new jobs in the CBD, reducing crime, and better supporting unhoused residents. — Boost social capital by welcoming more diverse voices to community conversations. — Refocus on supporting and growing small businesses, which are the backbone of this city. — Improve access to existing county, city, and community college programs. — Invest in long term sustainable infrastructure; schools, airport, roads, and public transit. — Boost retention of talented young professionals graduating from nearby universities. We do this by delivering an amenities package and quality of life that’s on par with our neighbors in Raleigh and Charlotte. Will I have your support? #LOCKEDIN
