Can't wait to start using this new technology! I have commissioned a number of wireless lighting controls systems in both commercial and industrial settings. This will eliminate the biggest pain point - knowing what fixtures are where in the space. Normally you have to either flash each light individually and record the location manually or ask installing contractors to keep track of MAC addresses or barcodes. This will greatly simplify startup of these projects...
Introducing FlashNet: A breakthrough in lighting control! 🔦 We're proud to launch our advanced optical signal-based wireless device control technology. FlashNet enables: + Control of Bluetooth commercial lights from up to 50 feet away + Easy commissioning and identification of individual lights + Quick adjustments to groupings and scenes using light signals Key features: + Patent-pending technology + Compatible with Keilton+autani BLE 5.0 daylight harvesting sensors and selected outdoor photocell sensors + Includes specially designed FlashNet flashlight (FL30) Transform your lighting management today! ...and here comes the third one! Again sponsored by the ICORR Consortium, the third ICORR webinar is about Functional Assessment - measuring the recovery of patients during motor therapies or while learning to use prostheses and rehabilitation devices. I have personally worked toward this webinar, since it touches upon a big problem in reha robotics: bringing the user in the picture as soon as possible - to analyse his desires and needs, to check the acceptance of the devices we design - in a word: to get in touch with human beings, which is what we should do since the start. We engineers have little familiarity with this topic and I mean to change this situation. Our experts: Corry van der Sluis, Wendy Hill, Liselotte Hermansson and Jacqueline Hebert. See you all live on our youtube channel, on June 3rd h16:00 CET!

Great! the key is need reliability ultrathin battery
I would like to share our FHE (Flexible Hybrid Electronics) devices with you. We have spent more than eight years on R&D regarding the devices and their potential applications. The video showcases some of our results. I acknowledge my colleagues, Dr. Yoshida, Dr. Wang, Dr. Gabor, Dr. Shiba and Okuyama for their great effort.

Some key takeaways from the #smartmanufacturing #metrology panel at the #RE+24: 1. Inline metrology are the 👀 of the factory. Don't fly blind 🙈 and source them from suppliers independent from the turnkey process equipment to give you an unbiased health status🏥of the plant! 2. How do the 👀 connect to the brain 🧠? Already today, measurement and characterization bake in a lot of domain knowledge about the parts being tested. With multimodal measurements and data connectivity 🕸, there's a larger opportunity to render a comprehensive picture that is amenable to more "three dimensional" physical and statistical model interpretations, to give a plant view of which process tools are performing well and which are not. 3. For solar, the critical points for metrology are at the end of line (where subtle manufacturing defects become detectable), at the passivation coatings (critical to quality), as well as at the incoming side of module assembly (reliability) 4. A large solar cell factory makes a million cells a day 🏎 and has a hundred process tools, yet is still subject to an extent the stringent process conditions required in semiconductor manufacturing 🔬. That presents unique challenges but opportunities for big data analytics and automation, which could benefit solar production more than uber high craftmanship shops like IC fabs or lower tech like bottle making Great to share the floor and compare notes with Jonas D. Huyeng, Tom Thieme, Iskra Zafirovska, Moritz Meixner and I welcome more inputs and discussions!
What does smart manufacturing mean for solar? How far are we along the continuum of connected data, analytics and AI? Join me, Iskra Zafirovska, Tom Thieme, and Jonas D. Huyeng in the panel discussion "Advanced Characterization as a Key Enabler in Smart Manufacturing" at the Smart Manufacturer and Logistics Theater, N93050, North Hall at the RE+ on Wednesday Sept 11 12:00-12:55pm. LED's do more with inline metrology! RE+

The #AMTA2024 is coming! I will take this chance to show some of the detailed work done with Christoph Mäurer and C.J. Reddy of Altair, which gave birth to IEEE EMC Society related #distinguishedlecture. The paper is about the pros and cons of combining #emc and #ota together in one chamber, with a particular focus on full-vehicle #automotive #testing

We’re excited to join the 9th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention, hosted by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute! Rimkus Principal Consultant Raina Shah, M.S.E., C.P.S.M., CPE, will attend the conference and present the results from an exploratory naturalistic truck driving study conducted by Rimkus and the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. The study used existing naturalistic #TruckDriving data to assess the relationship between cell phone conversations (both handheld and hands-free) and the risk of different types of safety-related events during heavy vehicle driving, including sideswipes, rear-end collisions, and others. The conference runs from October 22-24 in Ann Arbor, MI, and Raina’s presentation will be on October 23. More details can be found on the conference website: https://bit.ly/3zUdIQb #DDI2024 #UMTRI #DistractedDriving #RoadSafety #consultants #ForensicInvestigation #ForensicInvestigations
