**Some Personal Professional Growth** I've done two things in the last week that are definitely out of my familiar comfort zone, but will be good for my confidence and the business. Firstly, I've committed to showcasing at the "Bauble Boutique" Festive Charity Pop-Up Shopping Event at Goodwin and secondly, I'll be giving a talk on remodelling jewellery at the University Women's Club in March. Two different types of things, but if you don't put yourself/the brand out there, how are you meant to get noticed?! Now just to let the panic set in...! #privatejeweller #remodellingjewellery #professionalgrowth #professionalchallenges #finejewellery #challengeaccepted

"Who says looking sharp has to break the bank?" Charity shops are the holy grail for finding high-quality suits without the hefty price tag. Not only are you saving money, but you’re also: ✅ Supporting great causes 💚 ✅ Embracing sustainable fashion 🌍 ✅ Finding unique, timeless pieces that stand out I recently picked up a suit that fits perfectly and gives me confidence for interviews and professional settings – all thanks to a local charity shop. It’s proof that style doesn’t need to cost a fortune when you know where to look. Next time you need a suit (or any wardrobe upgrade), consider thrifting. You’ll be surprised what treasures you can find! Where do you find your best professional pieces? #SustainableFashion #DressForSuccess #CharityShops #ThriftedStyle #BudgetFriendlyStyle

𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 When philanthropy and luxury jewellery meet, it’s magic—and a memorable way to connect with a meaningful cause. Since 2016, Pauline Wong Jewellery (PWJ) has woven philanthropy into its brand DNA, raising awareness and funds for charitable causes. For years, I’ve drawn on my tech sector marketing and PR expertise to support my mother's jewellery brand through engaging customer experiences. Our next London event will feature an exclusive auction of a one-of-a-kind PWJ Chameleon necklace, plus a raffle with prizes including PWJ gift cards and designer items, all aimed to build connections and deepen support for our chosen charity. Over the years, we’ve seen the benefit of having auctions and high-value raffles to enhance guest involvement without losing sight of what matters: the charitable cause. These experiences create excitement but also help build personal connections with PWJ, adding a philanthropic purpose to each event. Here are 3 tips if you’re planning similar experiences: 1. Showcase one unique, high-value item connected to your brand story to foster exclusivity. 2. Select prizes that resonate with your audience and align with your brand values. 3. Create a warm, inviting atmosphere that encourages genuine connections with your cause. As we prepare for our next PWJ event, we’re more excited than ever to bring these experiences to life. How do you engage your event attendees while staying true to your brand? Follow me for more insights blending my passions with purpose. #LuxuryForACause #PhilanthropyInJewelry #PaulineWongJewellery

In Australia, the issue of waste and overconsumption has become increasingly pressing - not just for the environment, but for consumers who are feeling the strain as well. It’s so encouraging to see initiatives that focus on repurposing and paying pieces forward, especially during challenging times when many families are struggling. Having worked with Country Road Group over recent years, we’ve seen firsthand how committed they are to listening to their customers. In a world where people are often overwhelmed and busy, creating initiatives that go beyond mere purchases or seasonal trends is crucial. It’s about fostering a deeper connection and offering value that extends beyond the transaction. This approach is a step in the right direction, and it’s something we should all support and advocate for in the fashion landscape 👏 #Australianfashion #overconsumption #australianstyleinstitute #retailpartner
As part of Fashion Trade, in proud partnership with Australian Red Cross, our customers are rewarded with a $10 gift voucher when they donate pre-loved Country Road items, supporting the community and helping to keep wearable garments in use. Discover more: https://lnkd.in/gZZzrA_5

❌ Don't throw your clothes away Are you bored of your clothes? Don't wanna use them anymore? BUT Does that mean you can throw them away? 🙅♀️NO Here's what you can do instead ⬇️ 1. Donate them to the needy You can donate your clothes to your housemaid or any worker who you think can benefit from those clothes or pass it on to someone who can use them. This is the best way to ensure that your clothes are getting a longer life and contribute to circular fashion. 2. Sell your clothes online If your clothes are in decent condition or vintage, you can sell them online and make money to buy new clothes :) A lot of sites sell vintage and thrift stuff online, you can sell your clothes through these sites as well. 3. Upcycle your clothes Last but not the least, give a glow up to your clothes. If you are bored of wearing that same pair of jeans every single day, then instead of buying new jeans, give those jeans a new look and SAVE MONEY. Cut them up or maybe paint them, add strings or ribbons, whatever pleases you. How we celebrate sustainable fashion & give back: highlights from our MTM 'Swap Party'. What's the Deal? We asked our team to bring gently used clothing items they no longer wear and swap it for a fresh find from our selection. It's a win-win: they get a pre-loved treasure, and we keep clothes out of landfills. Everything left over at the end of the Swap Party Week goes to charity. How It Works: 💚 It's a simple one-for-one exchange. Bring one item, take one item. 💚 Donations are key! To participate, you must donate a piece of clothing. 💚 Any unclaimed clothing at the end of the week will be donated to charity. Why Swap? ♻️ 💚 Sustainable Style: Swapping extends the life cycle of clothes, reducing waste. 💚 Free Refresh: Update your wardrobe with unique finds without spending a penny! 💚 Give Back: Support a good cause and donate unwanted clothes to charity. Do you have any great intiatives that you would like to share? Comment below ⬇ #swapweek #swapparty #netzeroinitiative #charityinitiative #achievablenetzero #culture #netzero #mrsnetzeropledge
