We're back at our work in Holywell Row, where we're investing £1.4 million into our stormwater capacity! Our team has been progressing well underway with the installation of 45-metre-long pipes. These include five interconnected rows of 1,500mm diameter pipes, each measuring 45 meters in length. In total, these will provide a total storage capacity of 390m³. This system is designed to capture excess stormwater and gradually release it back into the pump station once conditions stabilise. Once complete, this project will significantly improve Anglian Water Services risk of flooding in the area during heavy rainfall! #oneAlliance #AnglianWater #HolywellRow #Suffolk
Excellent work! Enhancing stormwater capacity will go a long way in safeguarding nearby properties that have previously endured severe flooding. Well done to everyone involved! 👏
