What a privilege it was to hear from Kruti Patel Goyal at the AllBright Step Forward Summit last week, and what a joy it was to see so many of our Accelerate programme participants there in person! Yesterday we looked at Chapter 5 of the programme, which specifically explores at how we define, communicate and articulate our value. I couldn't help but share this clip from the day because it's EXACTLY what we discussed in our sessions. Understanding your value comes from understanding yourself. What you like, what you don't like, your non-negotiables, how you treat others, how you like to learn, how you bounce back from setbacks, and what your triggers are. This self awareness helps you build relationships, demonstrate impact, and importantly, lead at any level. Simon Sinek is a well known author, speaker and influencer and i have followed him for a long time, from when I first discovered his management and leadership philosophies with “Start with the WHY”.
