Another successful Canfield Fair is in the books! ONE Health Ohio and RISE Recovery were proud to be in attendance throughout the event and to be able to interact with so many wonderful people! Throughout the week, we were able to educate everyone on our services as well as pass out many fun and functional giveaways. Thank you to the Mahoning Valley Medical Society for having us back and to our many volunteers who helped staff our booth. Until next year! If you were unable to make it out to the fair this year and are interested in the services we provide, give us a call at 877-722-3303 or visit us at onehealthohio.org.

Great advice from providers in Texas! Having 21 years of experience I have definitely learned that humility is the best teacher. We all can learn from each other regardless of years spent doing the job, regardless of education level, regardless of licensure level. I think if we always look and listen for opportunities to invest in each others and ourselves, the impact is felt greatly within the industry. Jon Abernathy next week I’m teaching you how to correctly start an IV. 🤣 #mastermedicalequipment #EMS #EMT #Paramedic
Watch me butcher an IV, but have fun doing it! Back with part 2 from my interviews at Texas EMS from last week. This will go down as one of my favorite conferences so far. I’m already looking forward to going back next year. A big thanks to Laura Chapin, LP at Parker County Hospital District, William Layton at UMC Health System, Ryan Holzaepfel at Chamber County EMS, Ray K. Jennings Jr at Altus Fire & EMS, and Nick Morrison at TotalEnergies.

Taking discoveries down the deployment track requires an unbreakable human chain linking all of the skills necessary for the journey. The strength of that chain is not however is not just in the diversity of skills it is in how they are integrated through a collegial and collaborative approach that engenders trust in each other. Translation through connectivity ! I will share some thoughts on how this might be achieved in the modern era of research.
IPRI Director Gordon Wallace AO will be at the upcoming Royal Society of NSW Southern Highlands Branch Meeting in Mittagong on June 20 for a talk on getting technological advances into the clinic. All are welcome to join. Find more information here: https://bit.ly/3XhM5K7

It will break the interwebs if I tell you that some very smart people confuse #StarTrek and #StarWars on this epidose of #PharmacyFika. But it's no #KobayashiMaru that conferences like #MonashPES2024, #PharmEd24, #ANZAHPE2024, #AMEE2024, and #FIP2024 help us grow and develop stronger connections to others. Check out what what Stuart T. Haines, Jeff Cain, Kristin Janke, and I think in this conference redux at https://lnkd.in/gymxXRn6
Professor and Director, Professional Development, University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy; Editor in Chief, JACCP; Life-Coach; Co-Founder and Chief Education Officer (CEO) - Yoga Apothecary LLC
The Fika Crew — Kristin Janke, Jeff Cain, Tina Penick Brock, and I — chat about our AACP Annual Meeting experiences in our latest epidose - including the Argus Commission Forecast, travel woes, brags about the AACP staff and the first cohort of Aspiring Academics, laments about convention center "dark caves," and misstatements about Star Wars.

Although there are many reasons to attend the APTA Private Practice Annual Conference, we managed to narrow it down to five of these top reasons. If you've attended one of our conferences in the past, let us know if there's something you would add to this list!
