Strong Women = Strong Communities, Strong Teams, Strong Families, Strong Relationships. When I say "strong" - I mean mentally and emotionally strong. Strong women know who they are and what they bring to the table. I believe that women are the cornerstone of healthy relationships, so much of my work is on supporting women to be "strong". I've just spent the past week attending an Indian Wedding in Budapest, where I had the honour of meeting so many "strong" women who formed the cornerstone of this family. There is so much POWER in that. So let this be a reminder to choose to do the work on ensuring YOU are STRONG. You need to put your oxygen mask on first so that you, too, can be the strength that is needed in your relationships. Whether you're a mother, a partner, or on your own journey, your health is crucial. A few questions about The Body Retreat we receive frequently are: How big are your groups? We purposely keep our groups small. All of our retreats have 6 to 8 like-minded women at the same time. Everyone is different, and in this way we are able to tailor our programmes to our retreaters. Besides that our experience is that people feel at home quicker in smaller settings. Can I come on my own? Absolutely, in fact about 90% of the women who join us here at The Body Retreat come alone. Occasionally we get mum & daughter, partners, sisters for example but the majority of the time everyone is a solo retreater. It is great to have time and space to focus on just you for the week. Do I have to share a room? No, you don’t have to share, you can choose to have a single occupancy room. However, many of our clients do come on their own and are happy to share a room with one other. You may find you are glad of the extra motivation to get you going. What question do you have that we haven’t answered here?
