Even the boldest designs, when carefully planned, can coexist beautifully with medieval structures. Modern architecture should not only be aesthetically appealing but also sustainable — both in terms of materials and by addressing the needs of residents, infrastructure, population density, and transport accessibility. I think by now we have understood the concept of architecture and it's origin, if not architecture is defined as the art or practice of designing and constructing buildings. Architecture is both an art and a science. As an architect you have to understand how buildings are structured, how they survive through time, where & what type of buildings can you build in a certain area, how many storeys are appropriate and most importantly how to allocate space for various functions/ rooms/ areas. All this is the science. Art is how we make all this factors intermarry seamlessly and in a way of order that is pleasing to the eye.
