Une plateforme cruciale pour l’intégration d’une lecture sensible au genre des relations internationales 🌍 si vous en avez la possibilité, considérez soutenir l’Institut du Genre en Géopolitique 🟣
✨The new year has begun, and the IGG is giving you the opportunity to fulfill a good resolution: supporting a young and innovative institute working for gender equality!✨ Since 2020, we have been committed to providing quality research work free of charge, building a network in France and abroad on these issues, and working with public and governmental institutions, civil society and the private sector. A challenge we took up despite having neither contacts nor financial resources. It is thanks to a team of dedicated volunteers, the support of several organizations and an unshakeable conviction that we are still here. Every year, through our efforts, the GGI has achieved great things. And in view of our ambitious new agenda, we can announce that 2024 will be no exception! If you are interested in the idea of promoting a gendered, inclusive and egalitarian vision of international relations within the GGI, we strongly encourage you to contribute financially to our campaign by making a donation on our fundraising page. For further details, please follow the link in our bio!✨

It's been a pleasure to have his excellency Mr. Ali Baris Ulusoy the Turkish ambassador in Lebanon as our guest speaker in our comparative politics class by Dr. Imad Salamey, shedding light on Turkey's political system. What's particularly intriguing is Turkey's 16% higher female representation in parliament compared to Lebanon, all achieved without a quota system. This contrast underscores the importance of exploring diverse strategies to enhance gender equality in politics. #womeninpolitics #comparativepolitics

Secretary of the Board, CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality; Master's student Human Rights and Gender, Sciences Po Paris
This week, I’ll be in Geneva for the #Beijing30 Regional Review. 30 years after the 1995 Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, the UNECE region (Europe, North America, and parts of Central Asia) assesses the progress made toward gender equality. What significant achievements have been reached, and which barriers still persist? Representing CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality, I’m excited to experience this process and connect with other intersectional feminist organizations. On that note… Join us on Monday morning, 21 October, for a virtual side event: #Holding the Line: Feminist Action for Freedom and Rights This session tackles urgent challenges like shrinking civic spaces, the rise of anti-rights, anti-trans, and anti-sex work movements, and severe funding cuts to feminist organizations. Organized by a group of international NGOs, the event will focus on "holding the line" on the hard-won gains achieved over the past 30 years. The event aims to amplify marginalized voices and develop strategies to protect and maintain the progress made. After three decades of progress, our path is forward—not backward. 📅 Date: Monday 21 October 2024 🕗 Time: 8:45–9:45 AM (Geneva time) 💻 Online 🔗 Register here: https://lnkd.in/eJRfYUUD 🔤 Interpretation in Spanish & French Please join to unite to counter anti-rights movements and defend the progress fought for. Co-led by WO=MEN, Dutch Gender Platform, ESWA, WECF International, European Lesbian* Conference 2017

5 people I hope to see next year at the 2025 OECD Gender Equality Conference Now that a week has gone by for OECD - OCDE Gender Equality Conference and I have reflected on the excellent speakers and topics from the inaugural conference. Here are my 5 suggestions I hope to see at the second conference next year; 1. Dr. Cindy Blackstock - Dr Blackstock has spend many decades advocating for Indigenous children to receive the care they deserve by breaking down colonial systems 2. Ima Okonny - intersectional data expert, leader in providing advice to government on how to responsibility use their data for change 3. Dr Imogen R Coe, Ph.D. - scientist and feminist activist who continually advocates for systems change to combat sexism, racism and xenophobia 4. Hina Baloch- LGBTQI+ human rights advocate from Pakistan with extensive knowledge on the South Asian Hijra community 5. Bérénice Kafui Schramm, PhD (she/her/they) - professor and consultant on feminist international law, author of a new textbook chapter on the overlooked Beijing Declaration of Indigenous Women. Who else would you like to see? Comment below!

A votre écoute pour vos projets @Transformation Numérique @Intellgence Artificielle @Gestion RH @SAGE 100C, @Paie & RH @Réseau Maintenance & Sécurité Informatique @WebMaster WordPress @SQL Server @Win Server
I am sorry to see that despite years of talk, gender inequality is on full display in the United Nations General Assembly Hall during #UNGA. Less than 10% of speakers during this week’s General Debate are women. This is unacceptable – especially when we know gender equality delivers for peace, sustainable development, climate action and much more. That is precisely why we took targeted measures to achieve gender parity among United Nations senior leadership. It’s doable. I call on male-dominated political and economic establishments around the world to do it.
