We all know how headlines and news love to sensationalize reports, so this is great news! More than anything it shows that retirement planning (a) Works and (b) Is not unattainable or even that difficult for the average American (assuming an effective retirement plan is in place). The article does mention how some people can find the prospect of planning for retirement intimidating or overwhelming, but now with the help and guidance of a trusted and experienced financial planner.
