The start of January is not my most energetic or productive time. Since I know myself well, I only get back to community events and in-person gatherings at the end of the month. If you are also prioritizing rest but slowly waking up to get together and make new, meaningful memories and connections, I have two events that might enrich your life 🙂 On the 20th of January, together with Henriette Einevoll Husby and PWN Copenhagen, we are hosting The Self-Leadership Summit. The first goal of this event is to get out of unrealistic expectations of New Year, New Me crap and get knowledge and tools to approach any life change with more compassion and accountability. The second goal of this event is to gather like-minded people in one room and create space for collaboration and mutual support. We live in a very individualistic society where many feel alienated and lonely. We want to bring more community to people’s lives and show how beneficial it is for our development and well-being. The third goal of the event is to talk about different leadership styles and how to make the most out of our unique strengths and talents. I am super excited that Laurence Paquette said yes to delivering a keynote about leading as an introvert. I work with many people who identify as introverts, and they, unfortunately, face many challenges regarding their ability to lead or take up space. Therefore, one of my dreams was to bring Laurence on stage, as I admire how she shows up.
