“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney I recently had the opportunity to attend a master class session led by Karthik SM HRD - Global TA Lead at Biocon, where we explored key aspects of the company’s HR functions and valuable insights for freshers. The session was incredibly informative and provided a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed as a professional entering the workforce. Key takeaways from the session: Mr. Karthik emphasized the importance of creating a resume that highlights not just our qualifications but also our unique skills and achievements. From researching the company to understanding its values and culture, every step matters. He shared useful tips on how to approach common interview questions, and the importance of confidence, clarity, and honesty in presenting our skills and experiences. Seven postdoctoral researchers were selected to undertake up to 2.5-month internships at industrial companies. Last year the first five postdoctoral researchers started their internships at SCG Cell Therapy (Shanghai, China), Gubra (Hørsholm, Denmark), AstraZeneca (Gothenburg, Sweden), UpNano GmbH (Vienna, Austria), and Immunic Therapeutics (Gräfelfing, Germany).
