Kudos to John Toth III for making it easy to understand the most important factors to consider when selecting a #food #fillingmachine. Thanks for taking the time to explain it in such simple terms! #packagingsolutions #foodandbeverage
Choosing the right filling equipment can be a complex process, driven by the unique characteristics of the product you're trying to fill, the container into which you'd like to fill it, and the production goals you're striving to meet. For Food applications, you must also pay close attention to Food Safety, hygiene, and industry regulations that govern the standards you need to meet to responsibly go to market with your product. And no matter what, when you invest in any equipment, you must consider what it takes to maintain it to keep it running at its best for the long term. In this blog, John Toth III , Director of Sales for our Filling and Capping business takes a deeper dive into these decisions and offers his insight into the critical factors to consider when selecting the ideal filling machine for your application. #PSAFilling #FillerTechnology #FillingMachine #FillerFacts #TrustedAdvisor https://lnkd.in/gAHJYH2A

Proper Hand washing procedure in food manufacturing.
Steps On Proper Hand washing in Food Manufacturing before Production Commencement||Hygiene || GMP 2024 Hand washing is a critical step in maintaining hygiene and preventing contamination in food manufacturing. Here are the general steps for hand washing in a food manufacturing firm before the onset of production: 1. Gather Supplies Collect soap, running water, and single-use paper towels. 2. Wet Hands Use clean, running water to wet your hands. 3. Apply Soap Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces. 4. Lather Hands Rub hands together vigorously to create a lather. Ensure to scrub all surfaces, including the backs of your hands, wrists, between fingers, and under fingernails. 5. Scrub for 20 Secondss Continue scrubbing for at least 20 seconds. You can sing "Happy Birthday" twice to estimate the time. 6. Rinse Hands Rinse hands thoroughly under clean, running water. 7. Dry Hands Use a single-use paper towel to dry hands thoroughly. Avoid using a cloth towel, as it can harbor bacteria. 8. Turn Off Faucet Use a paper towel to turn off the faucet to avoid recontaminating your hands. 9. Dispose of Paper Towel Properly dispose of the paper towel in a designated waste bin. 10. Apply Hand Sanitizer (Optional ) If hand sanitizer is used in your facility, apply it to your hands according to the manufacturer's instructions. Note that hand sanitizers are not a substitute for proper hand washing, especially in food manufacturing. It's crucial to follow these steps every time you wash your hands, especially before handling food or entering food production areas. #GMP #Hygiene augustine lyana Mercy Mwende Momanyi Ogega Odira Brian Grace Gathoni
