Insightful. But a different opinion about NB-IoT - last dance. LTE-M, cat1bis or RedCap in 5G may not fit for the LPWAN applications without mobility, e.g. water metering applications.

My Opninion on this Take: 1. Already happening with a lot of LoRaWAN Devices to reduce payload complexity and enhance usability. 2. NB-IoT is on the rise for water meters in Germany, however most OEMs launching their first product which could cause distress due to implementation problems. (UDP vs. LwM2M or missing encryption). 3. Satellite operated IoT will definitly have an impact on defence technologies. Mass UA(X) and sensor driven Warfare is just around the corner. 4. Please! Currently facing problems of pushing out Hardware en masse due to the physical labour involved and decision on SIM Providers. eSIM allows to patch Connectivity into already deployed devices. Especially usefull for mission critical failover connectivity! 5. IMHO not this year. 2025 will be the last year of IoT adoption. The benefits will have an enormous impact starting in 2026. The fast movers have learned a lot and are able to deliver exciting good products for nearly any vertical!

As Supply Chain IoT person 👏 👏 👏 to number 3 and number 4. Can't wait to see seamless connectivity beyond cellular coverage areas. eSIMs should make remote deployment easier for us and our customers. Cheers!
