Medi-Cal changes for 2024 are some good, some bad, and some ugly. In summary: 1. Access for low-income adults aged 26-49 and some who are disable or over 64. 2. 1.2 million in 21 counties will need to switch to a new managed health care plan 3. Adults between the ages of 26-49 will also qualify for Medi-Cal regardless of their immigration status. 4. Continuous coverage unwinding. 5. Asset test will be eliminated. 6. Some counties will have only ONE managed care plan to choose from. 7. Kaiser will now have DIRECT contracts with the state in all counties. https://lnkd.in/g3eKHgYz
