As of October 8th, 2024, people aged 40-49 can now self-refer for publicly funded mammograms through the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP). When you call 1-800-668-9304, someone will ask you for details and then connect you with a local screening office to book your time for your mammogram. Things to remember before you go: 👉🏼 Do not wear deodorant. 👉🏼 Do not wear lotion. If you forget, they will have you wash it off before your imaging. Even if you're not experiencing any concerns, it's crucial to establish a baseline for your health. Have you booked your mammogram yet? Remember, October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth!
