Creating memorable nature-based experiences & inner growth for better health, wellbeing, & community at Inner North Outer Experiences™️|USGLC State Advisory Committee | 2024 Regional March of Dimes Ambassador Family
Many are instinctively called to nature and feel better after being in its presence (outdoors & inside). It’s often an afterthought as to how and why nature and our global biodiversity are important to our health & well-being — and why we must also address the critical intersection & relationship between the public health of our communities, the conservation of land & biodiversity, climate change, and creating a proactive collaborative dialogue between tech & supply chain advancements and our environment — and why that matters to each of us globally & locally. Nature, and our understanding, connection, and appreciation of it are important in setting the foundation for the passion & innovation required to solve the largest challenges we face today and in the future. Nature is not to be taken for granted as it is essential to each of us who have ever lived. #nature #wellbeing #climatechange #leadership #innovation #tech #conservation Melissa Jennifer Jennifer Eileen Jennifer Dr Jenny Brockis Jen Heather Florence

“Dare to Dream Big, then Do Something About It” 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫 —Rebecca Yates About a decade ago, I was going through a really difficult time. Everything around me seemed to be falling apart…. The only thing that seemed to ground and comfort me was my daily connection with #nature🌱✨ Nature was always there for me and never carried any judgment nor expectations🪷 Ever since then, I knew deep in my heart💜 I wanted others to experience the healing benefits of #nature both mentally and physically🌳🌈🌊 My #dream of building a learning community regarding the healing power of #nature manifested in April 2023💫✨ As the Founding Chair of the “Nature As Medicine” subcommittee for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, my soul is beaming with gratitude for what we have built and grown!🌱🩺 Each month we feature an expert guest speaker who shares their wisdom, passion and experience with our members. Double targeting of the Vim & PSA in rare tremor syndromes Some people prefer the traditional Vim target for #DBS for the treatment of tremor. Others, like me, prefer the posterior subthalamic area (PSA). However, these two brain targets are more of a continuum than two different entities, why yet others, like Professor Atilla Yilmas, prefer a more syncretistic approach combining the two targets. To learn more about this approach and to view the (good!) outcome in 22 patients with rare tremor syndromes, have a look here: https://lnkd.in/diteAErf

Mentor. Author, Lumen Christi Employment Network Advisor, Empowered Theater Arts Board Member & Pink Umbrella Theater Sponsor
As we approach the end of the year, it normal to reflect on what we could have done better. Instead of looking backwards, look forward in the New Year of 2024 and layout a plan to accomplish your goals. My number one goal is to beat Parkinson's and live a productive life. I refuse to let the disease define me and control my life. Each day is a battle and the feedback I received from my friends on LinkedIn has motivated me to fight harder. I intend to accomplish these tasks in 2024. 1. Publish my third book "The Company Doctor Prescribes" 2. Live productively with Parkinson's 3. Spend quality time with my grandchildren 4. Continue to volunteer at Lumen Christi Employment Network 5. Convert my Parkinson's Journal into my fourth book What will you commit to do in the New Year?

"We would be making a mistake to believe that only medical doctors, psychotherapist, psychiatrists and clinical practitioners have all of the answers to centuries old medicines that live in our DNA. Your body & spirit have a wise mind too. What does your spirit-mind-body believe about who you are? Are there any boundaries that keep you from believing the truth and blessing of who you are? Can any medical or clinical professional tell you THAT? The work OnePeopleTO does in supporting front-line workers, professionals, students and mothers also supports the society to continue our economic growth, capital and sustainability in the future. It would be forward thinking to understand how you’re preparing for your future in ways beyond your vantage point and scope of vision. Happy Pride & blessings to my next of kin wherever you fall in the lineage." https://lnkd.in/gXV9mGmf

Master Performance Coach, Neuro Reconditioning Co-Founder, Human Performance Consultant, Host of Leave Your Mark, son of Lois, husband to Jaime, dad to Gretchen
Do you struggle sometimes getting your client to move from the right place? Equitable spinal motion is not always easy to restore. But here's a strategy you'll learn in Neuro Reconditioning to help your client "feel" and connect with their spine and where to move. Using constraints-based learning to limit the range they tend to use, and proprioceptive inputs to give their brain information about where to move from can be truly beneficial. NEURO RECONDITIONING uses the empowering processes of rehabilitation, performance therapy, and performance training to re-engineer human performance and empower movement professionals to navigate the grey area between rehabilitation and performance confidently. Want to change your client's pain today? We've put together a video course that you can download for FREE right now at: www.FreePainGuide.com Join us for a one day Pop Up Workshop in Mont Tremblant, QC Neuro Reconditioning Ninja Moves: https://lnkd.in/eZJhfkaM Want to attend one of our courses?
