Two years and counting…It is hard to believe it has been two years since the implementation of the 988 Lifeline for suicide prevention. So far 988 has received more than ten million calls, texts, and chats. The crisis lines are being managed and funded by each state and our team has been tracking the state procurement and awards for crisis-related services over the past two years. So far, there have been over 50 request-for-proposals (RFPs) released directly related to 988 services with almost $100 million in contract awards.
