Every company and organization has different needs when it comes to the visual side of their branding. Whether to use a logomark, logotype, or even a combination mark requires careful consideration about the purpose and positioning of the company, how the logo will be used, differentiation from competitors in the same field, and creative ideas that surface during the design process. If you’d like to team up and consider this question together, let’s talk. #branding #design #logo #logomark #logotype #combinationmark

Iittala decided to rebrand, and everyone has the same question. “What am I supposed to do to my Iittala stickers now?” That’s a tough question to answer and I’m thinking the same thing myself🤔 Here are my thoughts about the rebrand.💭 🕝 It’s going to take some time to get used to. New logo:🎨 Iittala decided to join the majority of companies that have changed to a text-based logo. The spacing of the first four letters seems odd. There must be a reason for it being that way. My thinking is that they plan on incorporating the double T more widely to their designs. Going from thick all lowercase letters to thin uppercase letters seems like going from one extreme to another. Changing from red to yellow. 🟥➡️🟨 This change is supposed to resemble the yellow glow of hot, melted glass. Changing the color is a bold choice. I’m excited to see how it’s going to be used. The goal 🎯 According to the creative director of Iittala, the goal of the rebrand is to increase the visibility of Finnish design internationally. Does the rebrand accomplish it? Only time will tell. In my opinion, looking like every other brand won’t make much of a difference. But I could be, and probably am, completely wrong.😅 It looks weird now, but I’m sure we’ll all get used to it. What are your thoughts on the rebrand?🤔 #iittala #branding #graphicdesign #marketing

Hey LinkedIn fam! 👋 Just wanted to share a pivotal chapter in our brand's journey that underscores the profound impact of a meticulously crafted logo. In the early days of Techsolvent, as we were navigating the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing, I realized that to stand out, we needed more than just exceptional services – we needed a visual identity that could speak volumes about who we are and what we represent. Enter the transformative journey of creating the Techsolvent logo. It wasn't just about graphics; it was about distilling the very essence of our brand into a symbol. We embarked on a quest to find a design that could capture our commitment to innovation, reliability, and digital prowess. After numerous brainstorming sessions and design iterations, the moment arrived when the perfect logo emerged – a symbol that echoed the spirit of Techsolvent. It became more than just a graphic; it became the face of our brand, embodying our values and aspirations. The impact was profound. Our logo became the anchor of our brand, symbolizing the quality and excellence that Techsolvent stands for. It became the visual cue that clients and partners recognized, creating a strong association with our digital expertise. In the dynamic realm of digital marketing, where every pixel counts, our thoughtfully crafted logo became a powerful tool. It wasn't just about aesthetics; it was about creating a visual language that resonated with our audience and set us apart in a crowded market. So, fellow digital enthusiasts, take note: your logo isn't just a design; it's the silent ambassador of your brand. Whether you're starting up or scaling up, invest in a logo that authentically represents your values, and watch as it becomes the driving force behind your brand's success! #Techsolvent #DigitalMarketing #LogoPower #BrandSuccess #ElevateYourDigitalPresence

Eye-catching Branding: More Than Design? Ever stumbled upon a logo that feels strangely familiar? I recently spotted a cafeteria's logo that seemed to borrow inspiration from a popular YouTuber's channel (any guesses who?). It got me thinking - is branding just about creating a visually appealing design, or is there more to it? While a well-designed logo is important, I believe effective branding goes beyond aesthetics. It's about capturing attention and creating a lasting impression. What are your thoughts? #branding #marketing #colours

Apply an 80/20 rule to branding. Visuals are essential, but they should make up only 20% of your branding efforts. These elements create the first impression and need to be strong and consistent. 20% visuals > logo > color > fonts > imagery The core of your brand lies in strategy. 80% strategy > what you promise > how you say it > how you resonate with others This 80% defines who you are, what you stand for, and how you connect with your audience. It’s about your brand’s promise, the way you communicate, and the values you uphold. Don’t forget about that 80%.
