It is an opportunity to understand in an empathic manner the approach to stress management and stress reduction. I will be be speaking about how we can reduce and eliminate restraint by creating arousal regulation and co regulation which is the cornerstone of the low arousal approach.Critical to this is the double empathy approach where we change our behaviour in the first instance. All of the key contributors will focus on reducing unpredictability and chaos for the people we support. #mentalhealth #restraint #seclusion #lowarousal #wellbeing #trauma #schools #autism #adhd

As we head into the next general election, this event will help charities and funders to better understand current Conservative views on civil society, and what it means for them. We will be joined by Samuel Kasumu, former Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Civil Society and Communities, and Jo Gideon MP to discuss: What differing approaches to the role of civil society are there in the Conservative Party? What might these differing approaches mean for civil society? How can the sector best influence the Conservative party in the run-up to, and following, the general election? https://lnkd.in/etFybKQ3

When Leena Kejriwal founded Missing Link Trust, her mission was clear—to protect young girls from the horrors of trafficking. Today, the organization works in remote villages, educating at-risk children and their communities to prevent trafficking before it begins. Leena shares the heartbreaking story of a young girl whose parents, like many others, were deceived by agents promising jobs. Missing Link Trust is making a difference, but they can’t do it alone. Your donation can help educate and protect vulnerable children and prevent these tragedies here - https://lnkd.in/grdxEzrZ
