#RANT Just because it’s an employer’s market doesn’t mean you should treat employees or jobseekers poorly. People still deserve fair pay, to put a roof over their heads and food on their table. People still deserve good benefits, to protect their families and their wallets from crazy healthcare costs. People still deserve flexibility and to be treated like humans who have dreams, needs, and obligations... OUTSIDE of work! Jobseekers still deserve to get good communication and not to be put through a circus of interviews and countless presentations where you *steal* their ideas And yes for those who told me if you’re laid off you’ll take anything and I’m out of touch... I was laid off or fired half a dozen times in my career. During those periods, I would have accepted a job that was less than ideal in many ways. I do what it takes to support myself, my family and provide for them. They come first BUT… this is directed at employers ... just because you CAN offer less or do what you want in this market doesn’t mean you SHOULD. Tides always turn and retention should be a priority always. This too shall pass (both the good and the bad), be careful how you treat people as it might just come back to bite you. Be a good human. Advocate for yourself always. My first corporate job in Fortrea! It's been 6+ months working here in Fortrea in accordance with Wissen Infotech. I have gained a lot of experience in this span. Whenever I introspect myself of new me I find that I have come a long way. Positive workplace , work-life balance, colleague interactions play a great role in this span. INSPIRATIONAL: I've become a composed, patient individual with a clear goal to collaborate in order to reach a higher level of achievement.
