Our values are what make us, us. We took time to reflect upon and update our company values, to ensure they encapsulate the true essence of our business and everything we already stand for. Our values are as follows: ✔ Taking responsible actions. We put safety first and are always considerate of each other, our customers, our environment and our business. This is shown by the actions we take, and the impact we have. ✔ There when it matters. Through early engagement, effective teamwork and proactive advice, we continually strive to improve how we deliver the right solutions – where and when they are needed. ✔ Delivering success. We never rest in improving the ways we answer our customers’ future challenges by adding value to drive more successful outcomes in every situation. ✔Stronger together. By combining knowledge, skills, resources and experience, we embrace the power of teamwork by working hand-in-hand with our customers to answer their challenges. We’re always on the lookout for like-minded people to join our team of experts. If these values speak to you, why not check out our careers page and begin your journey with us today! Our core values reflect what’s important to us. They remind us of how we want to focus our time and energy and make strategic business decisions. We recently refined our core values to be consistent across our entire organization. The hard part wasn’t identifying all the values we care about, it was narrowing them down to a few fundamentals that we can easily remember and refer to. Now that our process is complete, we’re excited to share the results! Firsthand Foods’ new and improved core values are: ❤️ Dare to Care – We want everyone we work with to love what they do and live full lives. We listen to promote open communication and maintain a thoughtful, human-centered workplace. We strive to provide exceptional customer service and meet rigorous standards for product quality. 🔑 Collaboration is Key – Nothing is more important to us than building deep, reciprocal, sustainable relationships with our team, partners, suppliers, customers and community. 📖 We’re an Open Book – No surprises here! We do what we say and say what we do. We take pride in being transparent, honest, responsive, reliable and loyal.

Owner/Operator at Purposeful Leadership Consulting and Co-Owner, Chief Collaboration Officer at Wi2 Co-Lab
I've been doing culture work in companies for many years. Each company is unique, however in the chaos, there are commonalities. You might need a culture assessment or reassessment if: 1) You are losing your loyal, STAR or 'A' level employees for ambiguous reasons 2) Deafening silence or vague answers prevail when exploring ways to improve the culture 3) A lack of excited succession candidates 4) Frontline employees have very little knowledge about how their job fits into the organization's priorities, goals, or plans 5) There is an inability to attract STAR talent due to online reviews and lack of employee referrals Ignoring these key signs, among others, will cause your company culture to diminish, and become stagnant. Do a quick assessment using these indicators, as it might be time to look in the mirror, reflect, and make some changes. -Chief Science Officer, HumanLytics Team

Do Company Values Even Matter? At SPS, we believe in the power of our core values, summed up in the phrase IQ is RAD. I for Integrity: Essential for building trust and fostering a culture of excellence. Q for Quality: Committed to maintaining the highest standards in all our endeavors. R for Respect: Honoring the dignity, opinions, and ideas of others. A for Accountability: Taking ownership of our actions, decisions, and outcomes. D for Dedication: Passionately driven to make a positive impact in the world. When company values align with personal values, the transition into a new role becomes smoother, providing a sense of comfort and stability. So, YES, I firmly believe that company values MATTER. As professionals, we all possess a unique set of skills that sets us apart from others. But what truly sets us apart are the values we bring to the table and the trust we build with our colleagues and clients. These two fundamental core skills are what differentiate us in the workplace. Let's make sure we prioritize them in our daily interactions and continue to develop them as we progress in our careers. Remember, value and trust are what make us stand out in a sea of talent.
