I have spent hours fighting with k8s on GKE, finally solve this by upgrade the one node pool to latest version and migrate everything to the new one. 🤔 Suddenly everything is working, k8s service is normal, coredns pods boot up without any problem. As I understand the main error is that the k8s API server is not accessible for one group of ip but work for others. 10 hours down time is the longest one I've experienced. Even last time when pg14 -> pg15 filling up the hard disk, we managed to recover the lost data without stopping the service. I think I need to practice velero restore, just in case this happen again.

My analysis for the kernel driver that is used by PlugX, the drivers are signed by “Windows Hardware compatibility program (WHCP)” and “Sharp Brilliance Communication Technology Co., Ltd.”. The kernel driver act as user-mode loader which decrypt a 32-bit user-mode PE file from the registry and inject it inside Svchost.exe process as child process for services.exe, then protects the user component process from termination from kernel and user space. Also, it resolves the kernel API address by locating SSDT (System Service Descriptor Table) and mapping the ntdll.dll to kernel memory and reading the value that will be moved to EAX register before the SYSENTER instruction and use it as index inside to SSDT, it do so to hide its operation and which API it will use during its execution. https://lnkd.in/dRuVnyM6 #malwareanalysis #ReverseEngineering #plugx

In k8s you might seen various exit code while debugging the clusters. Let's take a look exit code 137 which is most common we faced during troubleshooting. 137: 137 typically indicates that the process was terminated using SIGKILL signal. The number 137 consists of 128 + 9, where 128 exit code by OS to indicate that process was terminated by signal, and 9 corresponds to the SIGKILL signal. Here is the few common reasons 1. OOM Killed 2. Evicted due to Node Pressure 3. Manually terminated #mlops #kubernetes #k8s

Is there a CLI utility for modifying IPv6 addresses? I want to change 2600:1f14:29ae:3800::/56 to 2600:1f14:29ae:3801::/64 and doing it with sed feels very fragile and not portable.

An important milestone has been reached with my RISC-V core. Now it can works with usual program. It has: - RV32I - Zicrs - Machine privileges - Partially supports extension with counters - Simple interrupt controller The core can works with syscalls ECALL/EBREAK and generate exceptions for: - Illegal command - Misalligned jump For now I decide to skip support Misalligned Load/Store exception. Next tasks is: - Write special exception handler for string output - Build and run on C typical "Hello world" without any additional modification. - Build and test how to work coremark/drystone/etc general test suits. On the image you may see ECALL handling.
